Data backup is an essential procedure that should be done frequently and regularly in order to avoid losing valuable pieces of information. No one is safe from computer errors or problems.
Here is the procedure:
- From the software main menu, click on "File" and select " Save data".
- Click on "File:Bouton crochet confirmer.png Yes" to run the backup utility.
- Click on " Perform backup" when ProTech is displayed (which may take a few seconds, because ProTech must first notify all the users of the ongoing process).
- Your backup is done automatically.
To perform a quick backup without saving the documents related to each client, check the "Do not save" box in the "Files and folders" window. This way, only the data in the database will be saved. However, this use is not recommended.
For data restore, see the Common functions: Restore data document.
