Entering a commitment by objective

Introduction

The commitments by objective are really interesting for the clients that wish to commit themselves to something more accommodating. This type of commitment needs more actions for the instalments, but it gives a greater freedom. Usually, the client commits to give the organization an amount of money, but they cannot tell when they will complete it.

Entering a commitment by objective

The transactions linked to commitment by objective are created when getting a payment. This notion applies to commitments needing an action such as processing a cheque.

A: All transactions that will be linked to a commitment must be in the specified interval. Since it is common to get the first instalment prior to the official starting date or the last instalment a bit late, it is frequent to indicate a higher/longer date interval than the ones officially set. B: In a commitment by objective, the linking is not necessary. This information will be used as default values for the transactions created by the commitment, but all information may be changed if needed.
C: This section displays the planned instalments and their status. See section "Instalments" for more information. The CalendarGridButton.png button allows instalments to be generated by frequency or by calendar. The Bouton Ajouter.png button allows to manually create instalments.

D: This information will be used only as default value in the transactions that will be created by the instalments. The payment method is not required for the commitment by objective. The most frequent payment method is the cheques, credit card where the user contacts the client or the space is left blank for later.
