Introduction

A commitment is an agreement taken between a client and you. In ProDon, the commitment refers to this agreement. The commitment notion generally implies several instalments on long term. The commitment will allow you to follow and view several notions, such as the commitment total objective, the sum of money given by the client up to this day as well as the projections to come. The commitment itself does not contain money, but it will be used to create the planned transactions according to the agreement.

Commitment Creation

All commitments are created from a client file. Most of the time, you will create a commitment from the one with whom you have an agreement or from the one that will pay for the commitment.

Tous les engagements sont créés à partir d’une fiche client; généralement, de celui qui a pris l'entente ou encore du payeur prévu pour l’engagement.

The commitments are divided in 2 types: objective and automatic. For more details, please refer to the sections about the particularities of each types.

Les engagements sont répartis en 2 types : objectif et automatique. Pour plus de détails, référez-vous aux sections portant sur les particularités de chacun des types.

To create a commitment, select the "Commitment" tab of the client file (A) then click on the add button (B).

Presentation of common elements between the 2 commitment types (Main information and "Progression" tab)

A: Allows to select the commitment's client. Permet de sélectionner le client de l'engagement	B: Allows to select the third party client if the option has been activated (See K)
C: Allows to choose the commitment type that you will create.	D: Allows to choose the beginning date and the ending date of the commitment.
E : Allows to add internal notes about the commitment.	F: Allows to document the origins that will be assign to the generated transactions by the commitment.
G: Allows to document the canvasser of the generated transactions by the commitment.	H: It shows the commitment advancement/progression, including the next instalment date, targeted objective and the details of the created transaction by the commitment. This is also where you will be able to end the current commitment. La progression de l'engagement, dont la date du prochain versement, l'objectif ciblé et les détails des transactions créées par l'engagement. C'est aussi ici que vous pouvez terminer l'engagement en cours.
I: Folder where you can put all the documents linked to this transaction. Dossier où vous pouvez déposer tout documents relatif à la transaction.	J : Allows to tie up an already done transaction to the current commitment. Permet de rattacher une transaction déjà effectué à l'engagement en cours.
K: Allows to activate/deactivate the add third party client option to the transaction. Permet d'activer/désactiver l'option d'ajouter un client tiers à la transaction.	L: Allows to do a Mass Mailing of commitment type. Permet de faire un publipostage de type engagement.
M: Allows to access to the client or to the canvasser file tied to the commitment. Permet d’accéder au dossier du client ou du solliciteur attaché à l'engagement.

Frequency/Instalment Tab Onglet Fréquence/Versement

It is here that you can set the frequency and the instalment amount of the commitment.

C'est ici que vous pouvez programmer les fréquences et les montants de versement de l'engagement.

A: Allows to set the frequency and the instalment amount of the commitment. Permet de régler la fréquence et le montant des versements de l'engagement	B: Allows to choose the payment method used to pay the gerenated transaction by the commitment. Permet de choisir le mode de paiement utilisé pour payer les transactions générées par l'engagement.

Caracteristic tab Onglet Caractéristiques

Allows to add, delete and edit the characteristics that you want to assign to the commitment.

Permet d'ajouter, supprimer et modifier les caractéristiques que vous voulez attribuer

A: Button allowing to add, edit or delete the commitment characteristics assign to it. Bouton permettant d'ajouter, modifier ou supprimer les caractéristiques d'engagement affectées à celui-ci.	B: Here is the assigned commitment characteristics as well as their details. Ici sont les caractéristiques d'engagement affectées ainsi que leur détails

A: Button to add/edit/delete the tasks linked to the commitment as well as change their processing status. Boutons pour ajouté/modifier/supprimer les tâches relier à l'engagement, ainsi que de changer leur statut de traitement. Commitment by objective // Engagement par objectif

The transactions linked to commitments by objective are created when receiving a payment. This notion Les transactions liées à des engagements de type objectif sont créées lors de la réception du paiement. Cette notion s’applique aux engagements nécessitant une action telle que le traitement d’un chèque.

Automatic commitment // Engagement automatique

The transactions linked to automatic commitments will be massively created to a frequency that you can choose. This notion will apply to commitments which does not need any action to trigger the instalment, for example the instalments on the client's payroll or pre-authorized bank transfer.

Les transactions liées à des engagements de type automatique seront créées en masse à une fréquence de votre choix. Cette notion s’appliquera aux engagements qui ne nécessitent aucune action lors du versement, par exemple les prélèvements sur la paie ou les virements bancaires pré-autorisés.
