Restore data
Restoring Data
Performing a data restore
It is important to perform data backups frequently and regularly in order to avoid losing valuable pieces of information. No one is safe from computer errors or problems (see the Common functions: Save data document).
A data restore allows you to recover the data from a previous backup.
Here is the procedure:
- From the software main screen, click on "File" and select " Restore data".
- Click on "File:Bouton crochet confirmer.png Yes" to run the restore utility.
- When ProTech is displayed, place the cursor on the wanted backup in the "List of restore points".
- Then click on "RESTORE".
- Answer "Yes" to the question "Do you want to backup your data?".
- To pursue with the restore, click on "File:Bouton crochet confirmer.png Ok".
- To continue the database restore, answer "File:Bouton crochet confirmer.png Yes".
- After the backup, answer "File:Bouton crochet confirmer.png Yes" to "Do you want to restart the application now?".
